Economic & Fiscal Impact Analysis

Brion Economics prepared several confidential analyses for a private company. We evaluated the company’s impact on the City of Mountain View, including an assessment of City revenues and costs, current economic multiplier effects and other benefits. We compared fiscal conditions in 10 similarly sized cities with high tech concentrations and those without.

Our fiscal impact report analyzed projects and combinations of projects under consideration, including a new Master Plan. We also reviewed current and historical real estate trends in the City and prepared a critique of the City’s fiscal and financial standing. We brought in ADE, Inc., Regional Development Strategies, and other subconsultants to assist.
